We are a multi-location brand looking to hire a skilled freelance SEO specialist to handle our local rank tracking, geo-grid monitoring, and monthly analytics reporting across our local business assets.

1. Core Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Local Search & Presence

• Perform comprehensive Local SEO Audits and Local Keyword Research for multi-location tracking.

• Set up, configure, and monitor local rank tracking and geo-grid maps across targeted postal codes and cities.

• Track Local Map Pack rankings, organic visibility, and localized keyword performance.

• Assist with Review & Reputation Management tracking and local conversion metrics.

Audits, Technical & Maintenance

• Monitor ranking fluctuations, identify sudden drops, and isolate local technical issues.

• Audit local tracking parameters and ensure accurate UTM tagging for Google Business Profiles (GBP).

2. Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Proven Track Record: Experience using industry tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, BrightLocal, Local Falcon, or Whitespark).
• Strictly White-Hat: Zero tolerance for automated reporting tricks or inflated fake ranking metrics.
• Transparent Reporting: Ability to provide live-tracking spreadsheets (URL, geo-grid coordinates, keyword positions, localized search volume).
• Communication: Clear update frequency with weekly/bi-weekly updates and monthly executive reporting summaries.

4. Deliverables Expected

1. Complete Local Rank Tracking setup across all target locations.
2. Monthly executive analytics report covering Local Pack positions, geo-grid progress, and actionable recommendations.
3. Detailed local keyword audit report and ranking movement tracker.
